Hello,
The next meeting of the "Facebook and OpenSocial Application Development Meetup" will be Monday June 29th.
Facebook / OpenSocial developers are looking for other platforms to make money. They are also looking for new and creative ideas to make their current apps more profitable.
Therefore, I have asked Lee Linden (co-founder) of Tapjoy, a venture-funded mobile software company to speak. Lee assisted with the creation of the $100 million dollar iFund during his time at Kleiner Perkins. He previously worked in product development at Microsoft and co-funded ContestMachine.com, a self service marketing website. Lee studied computer engineering at the University of Michigan and earned an MBA from Stanford.
Tapjoy has the top-ranked iPhone apps and provides a platform for developers to help improve their mobile apps and make them more profitable. Features of this platform include an Ad Optimizer, Virtual Goods Monetization System, Wagered Tournaments, Rankings and High Scores, Online Challenges, and more.
In addition to the platform, Tapjoy has a subsidiary, TJ Games Studios, which builds mobile games. These games serve as a testbed for the Tapjoy platform and include top titles such as TapDefense, TapSudoku, and TapWord on the iPhone and MisMisMatch and Coloroid for Android.
This should be a fun and interesting Meetup! Don't miss it!
